Role of ICT in Higher Education

Dear sir/ Madam,
we would like to bring it to your kind knowledge that Seth Motilal (P.G.) College] Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan is organizing a National Seminar on "Role of ICT in Higher Education" during 12-13 February 2012 at Jhunjhunu. Experts from reputed Universities, Research Organizations and Colleges will deliver key note addresses on various aspects of the subjects.
Since you have been actively involved in Computer Science or Computer based applications, research and other activities your participation in the seminar will help in disseminating the information and enriching the knowledge in the allied fields of ICT.

About the College

Seth Motilal (Post Graduate) College, located at Jhunjhunu district headquarter, is the prestigious creation of Late Seth Motilal Ji Jhunjhunuwala, a reowned businessman known as "Silver King" of India. Initially it was started as Sanatan Dharam Middle school in 1937 and subsequently raised from intermediate to degree level in 1958 and P.G. in 1981 respectively.
At present the college has nine PG departments in the faculty of Science, eight departments in the faculty of Arts and three departments in the faculty of Commerce.
The College has got magnificent complex in front of the famous rani sati Temple with the state of art hi-tech laboratories, library building, well spreaded lawns, conference hall, open air theatre, Student counseling cell, Sports Complex, staff Quarters and Guest house.
This college is affiliated to university of Rajasthan, Jaipur and NAAC peer team of the UGC awarded the college "A" grade due to our traditions and prestige, able administration, academic and extra curricular attainments.

Jhunjhunu district is situated in Western India. It is situated 180 KM to the north from Jaipur and 220 KM to the south-west from Delhi and the city is well connected with other major cities of India. the district falls within Shekhawati region, and is bounded on the North-East by Sikar district, & on the North-West and North by Churu District.
